"Christmas Makeover" waste reduction educational workshop in elementary schools in Kavala and Xanthi
The actions of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, which were carried out within the framework of the European Waste Reduction Week in collaboration with the "Athanassios K. Laskaridis" and related to the "Christmas Makeover" reuse training workshop.
The event was attended by the Deputy Regional Governor for Agricultural Economy, Environment and Energy Argyris Patakakis, the Deputy Regional Governor of Xanthi Polyxeni Brika, the Deputy Regional Governor of Kavala Theodoros Markopoulos and the president of the Gender Equality Committee of the Greek Orthodox Church of Greece Vasilikis Pavlakakis.
With simple materials and objects that we all have at home (e.g. cereal boxes, shoe boxes, ribbons, etc.) the students of the A and B Primary of the 18th Primary School of Kavala and the 10th Primary School of Xanthi under the guidance of the executives of Foundation made Christmas ornaments surprising the organizers with their creations.
