The winner is B. Müsellim Qur’an Course

B. Müsellim Qur'an Course won the "Basic Religious Knowledge Contest" organized by the Mufti of Komotini among the Qur'an courses.

B. Müsellim Qur'an Course won the "Basic Religious Knowledge Contest " organized by the Elected Mufti Office of Komotini among the Qur'an courses operating in Rhodope and Meriç (Evros) provinces .

The final of the “Basic Religious Knowledge Contest ” held between the Qur’an courses operating under the supervision of the Mufti of Komotini Office in Rhodope and Meriç provinces was held on Saturday, March 18 , at the Çepelli village mosque in Komotini.

As a result of the eliminations held on March 4, 2023, finalists were determined in 8 regions. In the final held at Komotini Çepelli Mosque on Saturday, March 18, students of the Qur'an Courses representing 8 regions competed among themselves.

The results of the final competition were as follows:

First Region: B. Müsellim Qur'an Course

Komotini Central Region: Kalkanca Kur'an Course,

Second Region: Baraklı Qur'an Course

The statement made by the Mufti of Komotini after the competition is as follows:

“As the Elected Mufti Office of Komotini, all of our students who participated in the competition , the finalists who successfully represented their regions and courses, the students who completed this competition 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and our courses; We congratulate our precious teachers who prepared them for today, our parents who did not spare their support and made great sacrifices. May their path be clear and their future bright.

Our Mufti İbrahim ŞERİF, who participated in the final competition , congratulated the competitors, teachers, parents and the audience and talked about the importance of learning the Qur’an and the importance of Qur'an Courses, our mother tongue and minority education .

The competition, whose presentation was made by Deputy Mufti Fehim Ahmet , ended with an award ceremony.”
