The headman of Amaranda resigned from the "Restart" list

Şakir Hüseyin Şükrü, the headman of Amaranda (Yahyabeyli) village, announced his resignation from the “Restarting” list.

Making a written statement, Şakir Hüseyin Şükrü accused Maronya – Şapçı Mayor Dinos Haritopolus of acting arrogantly and authoritarian.

Şakir Hüseyin Şürkü on his private social media account made the following statement:
“Mr. Mayor, I am submitting my resignation from the 'Restart' list, where I was elected as a member of the Amaranda (Yahyabeyli) village local council in the 2019 elections. As the reasons for my independence, Mr. President, you act according to your own knowledge with arrogance and authoritarianism.

That's why I can't act like a puppet there as the mayor wants.

I declare myself as an independent and declare that I will continue to stand by the people of my region and will work with all my strength.”
