The debt transferred to the new administration in Kozlukebir Municipality is approximately 3 million euro
A meeting of the Kozlukebir Municipality Council was held on Thursday evening, 29 February. During the meeting the councillors discussed the first budget of the municipality for the period 2024.
The 2023 debts were also transferred to the budget arrangement for 2024. As a result, the administration headed by Erdem Hüseyin took over the municipality with a debt of 2,939,089.60 euros according to official records
In the statement made by the municipality administration on the subject, it was stated that
"The first budget for the year 2024 was amended at the Kozlukebir Municipality Council meeting held on Thursday 29 February and all debts for the year 2023 were transferred to the new budget. As a result, the new administration of Kozlukebir Municipality took over the administration with a debt of 2.939.089,60 euro according to official records. Whereas the previous administration had taken over Kozlukebir Municipality in 2014 with a debt of only 173.081,81 euro. It has been determined that during the nine-year administration period, Kozlukebir Municipality incurred a debt of approximately 3 million euros."
