Support from Mitsotakis to President Metios
Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis announced that they will support State President Christos Metios in the local elections to be held in October.
Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis, during his visit to Western Thrace, at a press conference in Alexandroupoli said that they will continue to support East Macedonian Thrace State President Christos Metios.
Answering the question about the New Democracy Party (YDP) and whether he continues to support Metios as the provincial presidential candidate, Mitsotakis said, “Yes. Some answers are one word. I have an extremely positive view of Christos Metios and an excellent relationship. He has provided important services to the province of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace and will receive our support in the upcoming local elections.” he said.
Meanwhile, State President Christos Metios stated that he is ready to fight in the new period and thanked Prime Minister Mitsotakis for his support.
