Rukiye Rızgıç elected President of Kozlukebir Municipality Council
In Kozlukebir Municipality, after the council president Cengiz Şerif submitted his resignation letter to the mayor and resigned from office, elections were held to elect the new council president.
Kozlukebir Municipality Council held a meeting on Sunday, 30 July 2023 to elect the new chairman.
As a result of the election held at the meeting, lawyer Rukiye Rızgıç was elected as the council president. Rızgıç, who was elected unanimously, was previously elected as the first female council president in the history of the municipality on 21 February 2021.
The Kozlukebir Municipality administration made the following statement regarding the election
"On Sunday, 30 July 2023, elections for the Presidency of the Council were held in Kozlukebir Municipality. As a result of the elections, Democratic Power List Kozlukebir councillor lawyer Rukiye Rızgıç was unanimously elected as the Speaker of the Assembly. We wish success to lawyer Rukiye Rızgıç in her new duty."
