Regional Governor launches tour across Eastern Macedonia and Thrace
The Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Christodoulos Topsidis, is launching a tour across all Regional Units starting Wednesday, July 2, 2025, with the goal of presenting ongoing projects and informing the public about upcoming initiatives.
Tour Schedule and Key Events
The tour will begin in Komotini, the regional capital. Governor Topsidis will hold a press conference at 10:00 a.m. at the Rodopi Regional Unit building, 1st floor, Leoforos Dimokratias 1.
Thursday, July 3 – In Alexandroupoli, at 9:30 a.m., the Governor will sign a contract for the project:
“Upgrade of the lighting system through the procurement and installation of LED fixtures and LED energy-saving bulbs on the regional road network of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.”
A press conference will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Evros Regional Unit to discuss completed actions and future plans. Later, the Governor will visit the offices of wood industry Akritas S.A. in Alexandroupoli.
Friday, July 4 – Visit to the Regional Unit of Drama.
Monday, July 7 – Visit to the Regional Unit of Xanthi.
Tuesday, July 8 – Visit to the Regional Unit of Kavala.
