Region President Topsidis attends the ENPE meeting
Christodoulos Topsidis, President of Eastern Macedonia Thrace, attended the meeting of the Union of Greek Provinces (ENPE).
Topsidis, who participated in the conference on "Regions in the Face of Challenges" organised in Patras, in his speech, especially touched upon the developments related to natural disasters.
In his speech at the conference, Topsidis, who is also the Chairman of the ENPE Environment Committee, emphasised the importance of the responsibilities and obligations of the committee as chairman and members, especially in the steps to be taken to prevent natural disasters. Topsidis said that the Environmental Committee carries out its work together with the legal team of the association.
Stating that the regions should be strengthened, Topsidis emphasised the importance of inter-regional cooperation and stressed that it is important for each administrative structure to make and implement its own development plan.
The conference in Patras will end today (Thursday 23 May). The final declaration of the conference is expected to be published.
