Pitiakoudis from Evros becomes President of the Region Assembly

Mihalis Pitiakoudis is the new president of the Region Assembly of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace.

On Thursday 4 January, in a special session held at the Yorgos Pavlidis Hall in the old governorate building in Rhodope, the new parliamentary speaker was elected. Mihalis Pitiakoudis, a councillor from the Evros region, proposed by the President of the Region, Christodoulos Topsidis, was elected as the new Speaker.

Aleksandra Gouliama Mandalidou, who was elected from the list of former State President Christos Metios, was elected as Vice President of the State Assembly, and Harilaos Seytanidis from the "Together for Change" list was elected as Secretary.

In the same meeting, the members of the State Committee, which is chaired by the President of the Region of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace or one of the Vice-Presidents of the Region appointed by his decision, were also elected.

As a result of the voting, the members of the State Committee were determined as follows:
