Pediatric intensive care unit to be established at Alexandroupoli Hospital
MP Özgür Ferhat shared the decision by the Ministry of Health on his social media account, informing citizens about the new development.
In his post, Ferhat stated:
"For years, our region has had a significant gap in healthcare services, especially in critical areas such as the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Ministry of Health has decided to establish this essential unit at Alexandroupoli Hospital.
During my discussions in parliament today, I confirmed this decision and received assurances that the project will progress swiftly.
The establishment of this new unit, which is crucial for saving lives in emergency and critical situations, will be a significant gain for the entire region.
May God grant health and well-being to our children, and may no parent ever have to witness their child's distress."
