No intensive care unit for children in the Eastern-Macedonian Thrace region!
It has been reported that there have been major disruptions in children's hospitals and units throughout the country due to the increasing flu cases in recent days.
While the scandal of the absence of antipyretic and analgesic drugs, especially in children, continued throughout the country, it was reported that many disruptions occurred due to the density experienced in hospitals.
According to the news in the national press, another problem experienced throughout the country was the lack of intensive care units for children.
According to the information given, it was stated that there are 55 intensive care units for children in the country, 32 of which are in the capital hospitals.
It was noted that there is no intensive care unit for children in the Eastern-Macedonian Thrace region.
Although efforts have been made to overcome the intensity of the hospitals in recent days as a result of the devoted work of the doctors in the emergency services, the lack of intensive care units and medicine continues to be a major problem.
