New Left MP Ferhat demands the opening of a special dentistry department in the new hospital
Özgür Ferhat, MP of the New Left Party of Rodopi, demanded the opening of a Special Dentistry Department for children with special needs and people with disabilities in Komotini Hospital.
In his letter to the Ministry of Health, MP Ferhat emphasised the importance of the inclusion of the Private Dentistry Department in the new Komotini Hospital under construction.
In the letter, it was stated that many disabled citizens and children with special needs in the region are deprived of dental, oral health and dental treatments due to various reasons, and that the department in question will produce a definitive solution in this regard.
In his written statement on the subject, MP Ferhat said, "The gift of the Private Dentistry Department and providing health services to these citizens who are oppressed under economic, social and health burdens constitute the basic element of our institutional duties and therefore I would like our request to be examined with seriousness and sensitivity."
