Management of Rodopi Medical Chamber pays visit to MP Özgür Ferhat
The President of the Rhodope Medical Chamber, Konstadinos Haritopoulos, and a delegation of doctors, members of the board of directors, paid a visit on Thursday, 23 May, to Özgür Ferhat, New Left Party MP for the Prefecture of Rodopi.
President Haritopoulos and the accompanying delegation visited Özgür Ferhat, MP of the New Left Party of Rodopi, at his office in Komotini.
President Haritopoulos conveyed the problems faced by the Chamber of Physicians to MP Ferhat and requested support from the parliament.
The members of the delegation of the Medical Chamber, who noted that they have been in debt for years due to the low state budget, that they have not been reimbursed and that the practices have been forced to downsize under excessive economic burdens, thanked MP Ferhat for the acceptance and meaningful meeting.
Within the scope of the information provided, Özgür Ferhat informed the guest delegation that a parliamentary question was submitted to the Ministry of Health on 21 May 2024 and invited the relevant authorities to duty.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, MP Ferhat stated that as a physician, he knows the problems of his colleagues well and will continue his initiatives before the parliament to solve them and thanked the guest delegation for the visit.
