Özgür Ferhat, Deputy Chairman of SYRIZA Rhodope Provincial Organization, emphasized the importance of minority schools saying "Let's adopt our schools for a strong minority."
Özgür Ferhat, Deputy Chairman of SYRIZA Rhodope Provincial Organization, emphasized the existence of minority schools for a strong minority and the importance of the education given in these schools.
Özgür Ferhat, Deputy Chairman of SYRIZA Rhodope Provincial Organization, emphasized the importance of minority schools, since the registration period for the 2022-2023 academic year has begun.
The campaign "Let's not leave our schools without children and our minority without school" was started by the minority for the registration period that started as of March 1st.
Özgür Ferhat also made a statement in parallel with the campaign launched and emphasized the importance of enrolling our children in our own primary schools.
Özgür Ferhat, referring to the importance of enrolling our children in minority schools, with two photo frames taken in the 1990s and recently, of Yassıköy Minority Primary School, where he had his primary education, states the following:
"Respected parents, dear friends, the first and most important step in the education life of our children is primary school. The aim of every responsible parent is for their children to receive the best education, progress in the gradual education system, and join the society as productive and equipped individuals after completing their education. At this point, the value and meaning of our Minority schools emerge. In addition to the resources that education and training can provide for the success of a student, the protection of our spiritual and cultural values, our identity, our origins, and social structure is necessary when our children start their education life from Minority schools. We must not give up our struggle aiming for a modern education and training system. In order for us to achieve this and win the struggle, it is our greatest duty to send our children to our Minority schools and save our schools from meltdown and extinction. We stand together to protect our schools for a strong Minority, and we look to the future with hope."
