KOMOTINI DINATA List makes 7 recommends for the environment
The main opposition of the Municipality of Komotini, KOMOTINI DINATA List, in a statement, presented 7 proposals as a team, stating that the primary and urgent priority is the Environment.
KOMOTINI DINATA emphasised the importance of a clean and green environment and presented a comprehensive 7-point Policy and Action Strategic Plan. The statement is as follows:
"ΚΟΜΟΤINI DİNATA team's primary and urgent priority is the Environment, and by adopting the European Commission's principles of combating climate change through concrete and feasible actions and projects, our team has designed a comprehensive 7-point Strategic Plan of Policy and Action with the goal of transforming the Municipality of Komotini into a "Green Municipality".
The priority of our team is to improve the quality of life of all citizens and to reduce the energy and waste costs of the municipality.
The 7 points of the Strategic Policy and Action Plan of the KOMOTINI DINATA List, chaired by Antonis Gravanis, on the Environmental axis concern
1. Revitalising public and common spaces, developing green areas and breathing new life into neighbourhoods.
2. Upgrading the energy of public buildings.
3. Green transport.
4. Creating a new irrigation system for the agricultural sector in municipal settlements and saving water.
5. Use of alternative energy types.
6. Alternative waste management.
7. Strengthening the environmental awareness of citizens.
