Karaömer candidate for BTTDD's Bursa Branch Presidency.

Hasan Karaömer, originally from Gümülcine, a graduate of Bursa Uludağ University and residing in Bursa, announced that he will be a presidential candidate in the association elections that will take place on February 26, in a written statement from his personal social media account.

The current president Ali Eminlatif is expressing that he will not be a presidential candidate again in accordance with the bylaws, Karaömer noted that he wishes to serve as the chairman in the next period of the BTTDD Bursa Branch, where he served as the vice president for three years.

Presidential candidate Karaömer, who came before the members with the slogan "Our only concern is our national cause", stated that he aspires to the votes of the members with his young and dynamic staff.

Hasan Karaömer's candidacy statement on his personal social media account is as follows:

“Dear Western Thracians, my dear kinsmen;
We are going through very difficult times as a country. In these difficult days when we are experiencing the disaster of the century, I wish God's mercy to our citizens who died in the earthquake and a quick recovery to the injured. I hope we will heal our wounds together as soon as possible. Let no one doubt that.
My dear compatriots;
As the Bursa branch of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association, the ordinary general assembly will be held on Sunday, 26.02.2023.
Our President, Dr. Ali Eminlatif is handing over the presidency in accordance with the statute. I am announcing my candidacy for the presidency of our association, where I have served as the vice president for 3 years, with my friends, first with Allah's permission and then with your support.
Our only concern is to serve our sacred and national cause, like all our previous presidents and administrators, and to carry this flag we have taken further. May God help us, do not break our unity and solidarity."
