İTB Youth Branch distributes pide bread on Berat Night
The İskeçe Turkish Union (İTB) Youth Branch organized a meaningful event on the occasion of Berat Night. On Friday, February 14, young volunteers distributed pide to Turkish minority shopkeepers in the city center of İskeçe, celebrating the special night with the community.
With the donations they collected, they distributed a total of 260 pide. The minority shopkeepers highly appreciated this act of solidarity. In addition to businesses, the Youth Branch also delivered pide to needy compatriots, elderly residents, and passersby.
Önder Şabanoğlu, the İTB Youth Branch representative, expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the event. Among the supporters were İskeçe Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, the association’s executives, İTB Women’s Branch, İskeçe Mufti Mustafa Trampa, Mustafçova Mayor Ahmet Kurt, and parents who provided financial support.
