İskeçe Mufti’s Office bazaar draws large crowds
A charity bazaar organized by the İskeçe Mufti’s Office brought together members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority at the courtyard of Çınar Mosque in İskeçe on September 4 and 5.
The two-day event featured a wide range of handmade products, gifts, homemade foods and local specialties. Stalls offering köfte, döner, tantuni, lahmacun and çiğ köfte, as well as tea, coffee, ice cream, crepes, French fries and various desserts, attracted considerable attention from visitors.
A dedicated play area for children also provided younger visitors with an opportunity to enjoy the event.
Members of the community visiting the bazaar had the chance to purchase various products and foods while meeting and socializing with one another. The event was widely seen as an example of solidarity, unity and community spirit within the Western Thrace Turkish Minority.
Mustafa Trampa, Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and Mufti of İskeçe, had called on members of the community to attend the bazaar, expressing hope that the event would contribute to strengthening the culture of solidarity and sharing within the community.
Visitors expressed their satisfaction with the organization and thanked the İskeçe Mufti’s Office and the volunteers who contributed to the event.
