Ipsala Border Crossing reopened
Governorate of Edirne announced that the entry and exit at the Ipsala Border Gate to Greece has resumed as controlled.
In the statement made by the Governorate of Edirne, it was announced that entrances and exits from the Ipsala Border Gate are carried out in a controlled manner. It was also emphasised that drivers should be more careful due to the risk on the roads due to the fire in Greece.
In the statement of the Governorate, "In the interviews made, it has been informed that the fires continue in Greece, the Egnatia Motorway connected to our Ipsala Border Gate is closed to transportation, transportation can be provided by side roads, but the risk of re-closure of the side roads continues. For this reason, entry and exit from Ipsala Border Gate can be carried out in a controlled manner."
