Infrastructure and irrigation projects from Kozlukebir Municipality

Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin announced today (Wednesday, April 9) that in a meeting with Hristodulos Topsidis, President of the Eastern Macedonia - Thrace Region, and Rıdvan Hacı Mehmet, the Vice President of the Region, they discussed ongoing infrastructure projects and irrigation initiatives in the villages under Kozlukebir Municipality's jurisdiction.
According to Erdem Hüseyin, a budget of 290,000 euros has been allocated for the asphalting of a one-kilometer embankment road in Domruköy. The project will be prepared and implemented by the Kozlukebir Municipality.
Additionally, 37,000 euros has been set aside to repair and asphalt the road section connecting Çelebiköy to the main road. This project has already been prepared by the municipality and delivered for implementation.
For Karacaoğlan, Basırlıköy, Domruköy, Delinasufköy, Kozlukebir, Bıyıklıköy, and Hacıköy, seven irrigation wells have been drilled. The electrical connection costs for these wells will be covered 72% by the Region. However, it was noted that no water was found in the well in Hacıköy.
Once the electrical connections are completed, President Topsidis has pledged support for the installation of new irrigation lines.
In his statement, Mayor Hüseyin expressed his gratitude, saying, "Since the very first day of our election, we have received immense cooperation from Mr. Topsidis and his team, who have shown their sincerity toward Kozlukebir Municipality by meeting almost all of your requests. We sincerely thank them for their high-level collaboration."
