Imaret beach to be shining!
Şapçı-Maronya Municipality continues to work for the cleaning of İmaret beach, which is a holiday destination for many people.
Apostolos Ioannou, Mayor of Şapçı-Maronia, announced that the summer concerts will also take place on Imaret beach and said that a deep cleaning was carried out on the beach, which had not been cleaned for years.
Thanks to the cleaning works carried out with the help of the municipality's construction equipment and trucks, the concert area, the Touristic Pavilion area and the beaches will be cleaned of garbage.
Road organisation and repair works will also be carried out to facilitate access to the beach area.
Mayor of Şapçı-Maronia Ioannu and Deputy Mayor of the Rhodope Province of Eastern Macedonia Thrace Manolis Tapatzas supervised the works together.
Two local administrators stated that the cleaning works will be completed in a short time and asked the citizens to be patient while the works are in progress.
