“Hope for Women, Life for Society” project starts!
The "Hope for Women, Life for Society" project, carried out jointly by the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association and the Xanthi Mufti, begins.
The promotional event of the "Hope for Women, Life for Society" project carried out jointly by the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association and Xanthi Mufti will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 18:00 at BTAYTD Xanthi Cultural Center. It was reported that all women were invited to the promotional event.
The project, which was implemented last year under the name of "Being a Woman in the Balkan Arms", will take place this year under the name "Hope for Women, Life for Society".
The women participating in the project, which aims to involve the Western Thrace Turkish Minority women more in social life, will meet with different subjects and experts every week.
The women who will read the books selected within the framework of the project will meet with the authors of the books they read at the end of the project.
At the end of the project, which will last approximately 10 weeks, the program will end with a cultural trip.
Last year, women from Echinos (Şahin), Kentavros (Ketenlik) and Glafki (Gökçepınar) villages of Xanthi participated in the project, and this year, women from Pachni (Pasevik), Melivia (Elmalı) and Kimmeria (Koyunköy) mainly participate.
