Head of Türkiye’s Religious Affairs Directorate to visit İskeçe
According to a statement from the Muftiate of İskeçe, Arpaguş’s program will include visits, prayers and community gatherings aimed at strengthening the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.
Visit to the Muftiate and Şahin Village Program
The visit will begin with a meeting at the Muftiate of İskeçe before Arpaguş travels to Şahin village.
There, the program will include:
- Afternoon prayer (Asr prayer)
- Mukabele, the traditional collective recitation of the Qur’an during Ramadan
- A public religious talk for local residents
The gathering is expected to emphasize themes of unity, solidarity and community during Ramadan.
Evening Program at Çınar Mosque
The second part of the visit will take place in central İskeçe at the Çınar Mosque.
The evening program will include:
- Isha prayer
- Enderun-style Tarawih prayer, a traditional Ottoman form of Ramadan prayer
- A religious guidance (irshad) program
The Muftiate invited all members of the public to attend the Ramadan programs, highlighting the importance of community unity and spiritual reflection during the holy month.
