Gülden Hüseyinoğlu elected as new president of the Rhodope Pharmacists Association
Following recent elections at the Rhodope Pharmacists Association, the newly elected board of directors has completed the distribution of duties. Gümülcine-based pharmacist Gülden Hüseyinoğlu was elected president, becoming the first member of the Turkish minority to hold this position in the association’s history.
At the board meeting held on Monday, 15 December, the new executive structure was confirmed as follows:
President: Gülden Hüseyinoğlu
Vice President: Stamatia Zuma
Secretary: Ioannis Gantis
Treasurer: İsmail Sarısakal
Board Member: Nefeli–Goula Maire
Board Member: İbrahim Ayan
Board Member: Konstantinos Papanikolopulos
Board Member: Irini Terzidu
Board Member: Zoi Tsapeku
In addition, Hüseyinoğlu was appointed as one of the two representatives of Rhodope Prefecture to the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association. The other representative will be Alekos Çapekos.
A graduate of Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy, Gülden Hüseyinoğlu has been operating her own pharmacy in Domruköy since 2007.
