64-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash on Kavala–İskeçe road

A 64-year-old motorcyclist was killed and another rider was injured after two motorcycles collided on the national road connecting Kavala and İskeçe (Xanthi) in northern Greece.
The crash occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, at the 7.5-kilometer mark of the Kavala–İskeçe road. According to police information, a motorcycle ridden by a 51-year-old man collided in a side-front impact with a second motorcycle ridden by the 64-year-old.
The 64-year-old sustained fatal injuries in the collision, while the 51-year-old was injured.
The Kavala Traffic Police Department is conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the crash.
