The Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) administration condemned the ugly attack of a French citizen on the mosque in the village of Ilıca on Thursday, June 15th.
The Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) administration condemned the ugly attack of a French citizen on the mosque in the village of Ilıca on Thursday, June 15th.
The management of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) condemned the disrespect towards the mosque and our holy book, the Quran, and made the following statements in the statement:
“We have learned that on Thursday, June 15, 2023, an attack was made on the mosque and our holy book, the Qur'an, in the village of Ilıca, in the municipality of Mustafçova (Miki) in Xanthi. We strongly condemn this attack on our freedom of belief and values.
We expect the attacker, who was taken into custody by the on-duty police, to receive the punishment he deserves as soon as possible.”
