Great interest in the Student Market in Komotini

The Student Market, organized by the senior students of Komotini Celal Bayar Minority Secondary and High School, attracted great attention from both the administrators and the public.
The student market, which started early on Sunday morning, sold pastries, donuts and sweets and coffee by students at different stands. Clothing and jewellery items were offered for sale in separate stands.
Meatballs in bread, which is indispensable for such activities organized by students was one of the most popular stands.
The pastries, donuts and sweets sold at the stands in the first student market held after the pandemic were consumed in a short time by the participants.
Organized by senior high school students and supported by the council committee, school administrators and teachers, the Student Market attracted attention and support from both minority and majority local administrators, non-governmental organization presidents and administrators.
Deputy Consul Barış Çulha represented Türkiye's Consulate General in Komotini at the Student Market event. Local administrators, representatives of non-governmental organizations and parents of students also attended the event.
It was stated that the proceeds from the student market will be used by senior students for their traditional cultural trip.
