Galatasaray Fans Association in Western Thrace nears official establishment
Galatasaray supporters in Western Thrace are in the final stage of establishing a fans’ association, after months of preparation and coordination. The new organization aims to unite local fans of the yellow-red club under one roof and to strengthen social solidarity within the community.
On Sunday evening, October 5, a meeting was held at the Turkish Youth Union of Gümülcine (Gümülcine Türk Gençler Birliği), where the proposed statutes of the association were discussed in detail. During the session, the process of determining the founding members officially began.
As part of the ongoing efforts, the next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, at 12:00 p.m., once again at the Turkish Youth Union building in Komotini. At that gathering, the statute articles will be reviewed for the final time and submitted for a vote. If approved, the official registration of the association will take place the same day.
Organizers have reminded interested fans wishing to become founding members to attend the meeting with a copy of their identification document.
