Free preventive health screenings launched in Bulustra and İnhanlı Municipalities
Free preventive medical examinations will continue throughout March in settlements across the Municipalities of Bulustra and Topeiros, in cooperation with the Mobile Health Units (KOMY) of the National Public Health Organization (EODY).
The initiative aims to strengthen primary healthcare services and ensure equal access to essential medical care, particularly in rural and remote communities.
Local authorities, supported by regional healthcare structures, are bringing preventive services directly to residents’ neighborhoods, placing special emphasis on early diagnosis and health awareness.
Services Provided
During the visits of the Mobile Health Units, residents will have access to free basic medical screenings and personalized health guidance. Services include:
- Blood pressure measurement
- Blood glucose testing
- Oxygen saturation measurement
- Preventive health education and awareness counseling
- Medical guidance for further care where necessary
- Home visits are also scheduled for individuals with serious health conditions or mobility limitations, ensuring inclusive access to care.
