Former Mayor Haritopoulos appointed to the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Crises
Dinos Haritopoulos, former mayor of Maronia-Şapçı and member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Municipalities of the Prefecture of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, has been appointed as a member of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Crises of the Union of Central Municipalities of Greece (KEDE), with a unanimous decision by the administration of the Union of Central Municipalities of Greece.
Haritopoulos, who is a member of one of the most important committees of the Union of Central Municipalities of Greece, will have the opportunity to express his opinion on issues that will directly concern the region of Western Thrace. It was reminded that the advisory decisions to be taken by the said committee are then used in the political decision-making mechanism.
Dinos Haritopoulos thanked his colleagues for the honour and trust placed in him and for the recognition of his experience, knowledge and contributions in these fields.
