Renovated Sapçi Hamidiye Mosque opens after religious program
The opening ceremony took place after renovation works at the mosque were completed, with the evening bringing together local residents, religious officials and members of the community.
The program was attended by Gümülcine Mufti İbrahim Şerif, Deputy Mufti Fehim Ahmet, local religious officials and a large number of residents.
Quran recitation and Mevlid ceremony
The program began after the evening prayer with Quran recitation and the reading of the Mevlid-i Şerif by religious officials.
Speeches were also delivered highlighting the significance and spiritual importance of the Kandil night.
Deputy Mufti Fehim Ahmet led a prayer, followed by remarks from Gümülcine Mufti İbrahim Şerif on the meaning and importance of the religious occasion.
Following the completion of the Kandil program, the congregation performed the night prayer together.
Ribbon-cutting ceremony held after prayers
After the night prayer, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to officially inaugurate the renovated Hamidiye Mosque.
The ceremony concluded with refreshments being served to members of the congregation and residents who attended the event.
The reopening of the renovated Sapçi Hamidiye Mosque took place in a spiritual atmosphere, accompanied by prayers and good wishes from the local community.
