Foreign Minister Fidan meets with Western Thrace Turkish Minority representatives in Athens

Following his discussions with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with representatives of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Council at Türkiye’s Embassy in Athens. During this meeting, Fidan engaged in a dialogue with members of the Turkish minority, addressing their concerns and aspirations.
The visit highlights Türkiye's ongoing support for the Turkish minority in Western Thrace and underscores Fidan’s commitment to strengthening ties between communities in Greece and Turkey. Following this, Fidan also held discussions with Levent Sadık Ahmet, Balkan Coordinator of the World Turkish Business Council, to explore further avenues for cooperation.
