Floods hit Narlıköy, Susurköy and Kozlardere

Narlıköy, Kozlardere and Susurköy, which were affected by fires last summer, experienced flooding. Yassıköy Deputy Mayor Mehmet Arifoğlu told the AGENDA that the rain that was effective in the morning hours today (Tuesday, 12 March) caused flooding in three villages. Stating that the biggest problem was experienced in Narlıköy, Arifoğlu stated that some houses were damaged in the region and that work is continuing to eliminate the problems on the roads. It was reported that there was a water cut in the villages after the flood disaster, but the problem was resolved at noon.

Meanwhile, Emanuil Tapacaz, Deputy State President for the Rhodope Province, visited the flood-affected areas and made investigations. As a result of the investigations, it was stated that Narlıköy, Susurköy and Kozlardere were heavily affected by the heavy rainfall. It was reported that with the intervention of Deputy State President Tapatzaz, work was started in the said areas and the damaged roads were repaired
