First private Special Education training center in Komotini
The opening of the education center called EDU B-OX, located on Ioanninon street (opposite the Gümülcine (Komotini) Turkish Youth Union), was held on Saturday, 31 December. Many executives and guests from Western Thrace Turkish Minority institutions attended the opening ceremony.
In Burak Adil's special education center; Education will be provided on subjects such as learning difficulties, autism, Down syndrome, attention deficit, hyperactivity, intellectual disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, language and speech difficulties.
In the center, services will be provided to increase the quality of life of children in the social field and daily life skills.
Burak Adil will also provide play therapy services in small groups to pre-school children and children with a diagnosis. In addition, education services will be provided to primary school students with private lessons for the difficulties they face.
Special Education Specialist Burak Adil was born in Çepelli village of Gümülcine (Komotini). Having completed primary school in his own village, Adil graduated from the Celal Bayar Minority High School in Komotini.
Adil, who completed the Department of Education for the Mentally Handicapped in Edirne Trakya University with a degree, won the title of expert with his thesis defense on "Western Thrace classroom teachers' attitudes towards inclusion, education program design approach beliefs" at Trakya University, Department of Disability Studies.
