Fabulous iftar organization from Komotini KÖPRÜ (BRIDGE) Association

Founded by the cognates living in Mastanlı, Kırmahalle and Kozluköy neighbourhoods in Komotini, the BRIDGE Association held an iftar dinner in the Mastanlı District, where the association building is located.

Under the leadership of the association's management, around 2,500 people were hosted at the fast-breaking dinner, which was organized with the support of the people of three neighborhoods and young people.

The guests who attended the iftar dinner were hosted at the tables set in the courtyard of Mastanlı Mosque and in the streets of the neighbourhood.

The prayer of the fast-breaking meal was made by İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini. Later, the President of the KÖPRÜ (BRIDGE) Association Ahmet Hasan made a short speech.

Thanking those who attended the fast-breaking dinner, the president gave information about the association. Stating that its members are increasing day by day, the president thanked the residents and youth of the neighborhood who contributed to the organization of the fast-breaking dinner. In his speech, President Ahmet Hasan congratulated everyone on the month of Ramadan and the Night of Power.

After the meal, a collective evening prayer was held in the mosque. Afterwards, Mevlid-i Sharif was read by the religious officials of the Elected Mufti of Komotini until the time of the night prayer and Mufti Ibrahim Şerif gave a sermon. In his speech, Mufti Şerif congratulated the management of the association, the residents of the neighborhood and the youth, who were instrumental in organizing the fast-breaking meal. He then emphasized the importance of the month of Ramadan and blessed nights.

After the sermon, the congregation performed the tarawih prayer together.
