EMT Region showcases food products at Paris Expo
The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace participated in the international food and beverage fair, SIALPARIS, held in Paris from October 19-23, 2024. This participation was seen as a significant step in promoting the region and expanding into international markets.
Representing the region, the booth featured local companies and products, with special emphasis on agricultural food products. The booth was designed with the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region’s logo, along with the logos of participating local businesses, and was located in the SavoryFood 1 hall of the Parc des Expositions exhibition center.
Notable Participants:
GREEK IMPERATOR (Xanthi) – Olive oil
KOLLECTIVA IKE (Rodopi) – Honey, Turkish delight, olive oil, spices, and herbal products
MENIKIO (Drama) – Organic dairy products (yogurt, cheese, ice cream)
NOVEMBER FRUITS (Kavala) – Premium packaged olive oil, dried citrus honey
PAVLOS TRIFONIDIS S.A. (Kavala) – Salted, marinated, and smoked fish (herring, anchovies, mackerel)
Macedonia Thrace Brewery (Rodopi) – Tuvunu brand mountain tea beverage
A special video highlighting the rich natural and gastronomic heritage of the region was continuously shown to visitors, further emphasizing the region's promotional efforts.
This initiative is regarded as a positive step towards boosting the international recognition of the region's agricultural products and increasing its commercial potential.
