Eastern Macedonia & Thrace Region to participate in alternative tourism fair in Düsseldorf
The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMT) will take part in the international CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, an Alternative Tourism Fair focused on outdoor tourism, camping, and nature-based holidays. The event will run from August 29 to September 7, 2025, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This initiative is part of the region’s strategic plan to promote alternative tourism and highlight its unique local tourism products on the international stage.
Free Booth Access for Local Businesses
According to Panagiotis Archontis, PAMTH’s Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism, local businesses are invited to showcase their products for free at the region’s booth. Participants may distribute promotional materials or hold in-person meetings with visitors and industry professionals.
However, each participant must independently obtain their own admission tickets through the fair’s official websites.
