Eastern Macedonia and Thrace promotes tourism in Germany – Region showcases at CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2025
As the summer tourist season continues, the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is maintaining its commitment to promoting its tourism offerings abroad. With a clear strategic plan and steady pace, the region is participating in the international CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2025, which has been running since August 28 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The exhibition is a key event for thematic tourism, focusing on camping and alternative travel options. The region’s participation aims to highlight destinations ideal for this niche tourism category.
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is represented by Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism Panagiotis Archontis, along with the region’s tourism team. Destinations from across the region are being showcased—from Samothraki and Thassos to Alexandroupolis and Mount Pangaio—emphasizing the diverse opportunities available to nature and camping enthusiasts.
The region’s tourism promotion efforts will continue, with the next stop being the Thessaloniki International Fair, set to open next Saturday.
