CosmoGlossa students gain international language experience in London

Students from CosmoGlossa successfully completed an immersive educational journey to London as part of their advanced English language training program.

The students, who recently achieved C2 (Proficiency) level certification, traveled alongside their teachers from the institution’s language centers operating in Kozlukebir and Şapçı. The trip marked the culmination of years of intensive language education and provided participants with the opportunity to practice English in a real-world international environment.

Years of Language Training Lead to International Exposure
CosmoGlossa founders and educators Selma Memet and İsmail Muhtar Memet emphasized that foreign language acquisition is a long-term educational process requiring patience and consistency.

According to the educators, students typically begin language training during the second or third grade of primary school. Reaching B2 (Lower) level generally takes around seven years, while attaining C2 (Proficiency) level requires approximately eight to nine years of study.

The London program was specifically organized to allow advanced students to apply their language skills in authentic social and cultural settings.

Students Explore London’s Cultural and Historical Landmarks
During the trip, students visited some of the United Kingdom’s most iconic attractions, including Buckingham Palace, British Museum, London Eye, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Madame Tussauds London, and Royal Observatory Greenwich.

Students also experienced shopping on Oxford Street, toured the city aboard London’s famous double-decker buses, and participated in a boat tour along the River Thames from Greenwich to Westminster.

One of the highlights of the program was the immersive art exhibition at Frameless London, which combined digital technology with visual arts.

Educational Trips Inspire Future Academic Goals
Beyond improving their practical English communication skills, students gained valuable insight into British culture, society, and educational systems.

Following the trip, several participants expressed interest in continuing part of their academic journey in London, while others began planning future summer school programs and part-time work opportunities in the United Kingdom.

CosmoGlossa instructors noted that international educational experiences help broaden students’ perspectives, encourage global ambitions, and better prepare young people for future academic and professional opportunities.
