Cooperation for the empowerment and development of women
The Eastern Macedonia and Thrace State Presidency will cooperate for the empowerment and development of women with the non-governmental organization Women's Law Network "Women Act".
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace State President Christos Metios received Antonia Stavridu, Development Manager of "Women Act" Branches of the Women's Law Network.
During the meeting held in Komotini, Metios received detailed information from the president Antonia Stavrula and the co-founder Mai Zanni about the aims and functioning of the Women Act organization, which aims to empower women to develop their versatile development in the public sphere and to fully develop their social, cultural, economic and commercial potential.
EMT State President Metios emphasized that every action that contributes to the empowerment of women is important and stated that the state presidency will support the efforts of the organization.
State Presidency Public Relations and Events Manager Katerina Fotiadu also attended the meeting.
