Changes in the way the parades are held announced by the vice-regional governor

Changes in the way parades are conducted are promoted by the Regional Unit of Rodopi. In this direction, the Vice-Regional Governor of Rodopi Emmanuel Tapatzas held a press conference on Thursday morning, accompanied by the master of ceremonies, representative of the Region of EMTH Eugenia Exakoidou and the head of the Office of Physical Education Secondary Education Christos Gantzidis. The changes relate to the parades of national holidays 25 March, 14 May and 28 October, which the jurisdiction of their organization has the Region An. Macedonia and Thrace, through the Regional Unit of Rodopi.

The previous period was preceded by successive meetings of the Vice-Regional Governor with representatives of the bodies involved in the conduct of the parade, with whom, in view of the parade of March 25, it was decided, after an interactive discussion, changes aimed at the smooth conduct of the parade. The relevant information was sent to the educational community, cultural and sports associations in good time, as early as February.

The changes decided are as follows:

Cultural associations, institutions and clubs will participate with a total of fifteen members, aged 10 years and older.
The sports clubs, organisations, institutions, associations, organisations and institutions, bodies and bodies, bodies and institutions, institutions and bodies, organisations and bodies, institutions and bodies, organisations and bodies, bodies and bodies, will participate with a total of nine members, aged over 10 years old.

To avoid mistakes in addressing the participants by the master of ceremonies, it was decided to use a distinctive sign (placard) with the name of schools, associations, clubs, organizations. The plaque will be held by a platoon leader. The P.E. Rodopi will make the signs available free of charge to 36 school units.
Health coverage of the parade by the Red Cross with the presence of rescuers at four points along the parade route.
Extension of the sound coverage of the parade, with the installation of loudspeakers along the entire parade route. Provision for a special facility for the announcer.
The end point of the parade will be the junction of Orfeos and Ioannina streets (Dinos confectionery), to avoid overcrowding.
Strict observance of protocol at the VIP platform.

The Vice-Regional Governor of the Rhodope Region said: "The changes in the way the parade is conducted were decided with a view to improving and smooth conduct of the parade, with the protagonist the learning youth, as provided by the relevant legislation governing the conduct of parades. Our planning focused on the proper management of the time of the parade, as delays were observed and complaints were made about its long duration. We aim to limit the time of the parade by 45 minutes. We have planned the changes in an inclusive way, with the willingness to involve all those who wish to participate, cultural and sports clubs, but with specific rules to avoid delays and overcrowding.

The Vice-Regional Governor Mr. Emmanuel Tapatzas asked for the understanding and compliance of all the changes, in order for the parade to be conducted in the best possible way, while he made known that the evaluation of the changes will be made already from the parade of March 25, in order to correct any errors or omissions that will arise.

The above changes will henceforth apply to all parades for the national holidays of March 25, May 14 and October 28.
