Burhan Baran expelled from PASOK parliamentary group

The expulsion decision was taken by party president Nikos Andrulakis.
Burhan Baran, PASOK - KINAL MP for Xanthi, has been expelled from the parliamentary group of the PASOK - KINAL party pending the outcome of an ongoing court case against him.
"MP Baran Burhan has been removed from the party's parliamentary group by the decision of the PASOK-KINAL President, as informed to us by the Parliamentary Deontological Board, until the ongoing case against him is fully clarified," the party said in a statement.
It was stated that the ongoing case against MP Burhan Baran is related to accusations of irregularities in prescribing prescriptions.
