It was determined that the male body found on the Greek island of Samos belonged to Yasin Cinkaya, a businessman from Denizli who disappeared in Didim district of Aydın. Cinkaya's body will be buried in Denizli on 17 January.

It was determined that the male body found in Greece's Samos Island belonged to Yasin Cinkaya, a businessman from Denizli, who was not heard from after going out to sea by boat on 13 December in Didim district of Aydın.

In a written statement, Harun Ümit Eren, the lawyer of the family, stated that the male body found on the shore of Samos Island on 17 December was considered to be that of Yasin Cinkaya and that the DNA sample taken from his brother Yavuz Cinkaya was examined at the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute.

Stating that Yavuz Cinkaya went to Greece and identified the body, Eren said that the DNA test results confirmed that the body belonged to Yasin Cinkaya.

Eren stated that Yasin Cinkaya's body will be buried on 17 January after the prayer to be performed in Denizli.

Event

The boat of Yasin Cinkaya, a businessman from Denizli, was found by fishermen near Eşek Island on the morning of 14 December, and the search for Cinkaya, who could not be reached, did not yield any results. On 17 December, Greek authorities informed Interpol that a male body was found on the coast of Samos Island, and his brother Yavuz Cinkaya went to Samos to identify the body.
