YTB organizes “Türkiye Scholarships Welcome Program” for international students
The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) organized the “Türkiye Scholarships Welcome Program” in Ankara for international students who have recently started their studies in Türkiye.
Hundreds of Students Participated
The event welcomed 379 international students who have begun learning Turkish at Turkish language teaching centers in seven universities across the capital. After successfully completing their Turkish language studies, these students will continue their education in various universities and programs across Türkiye.
YTB President Abdullah Eren’s Address
Speaking at the event, YTB President Abdullah Eren emphasized the significance of Türkiye Scholarships and addressed the students benefiting from the program.
🔹 “You are entrusted to us by your families and your home countries,” Eren stated, highlighting the students’ important role in strengthening international ties.
🔹 He encouraged the scholarship recipients to consider themselves as Turkey’s goodwill ambassadors, saying:
“We want you to remember one thing: you will be Turkey’s voluntary envoys in the future.”

The Türkiye Scholarships program continues to provide opportunities for international students, fostering cultural exchange and academic cooperation between Türkiye and countries around the world.
