With the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), international students launched the second issue of Her Boydan, a magazine dedicated to culture, literature, and thought in Turkish.
Bringing together international students interested in the Turkish language and literature, Her Boydan provides a platform for students to express their thoughts in Turkish and contribute to the language. The magazine not only unites students under the umbrella of Turkish but also encourages aspiring writers to develop their literary skills.
The 2nd Issue Launch Program was held at the YTB Istanbul Office, with the participation of many international students studying in Türkiye. The event aimed to strengthen cultural and literary interaction and expand the magazine’s reach to a wider audience.
During the program, YTB Institutional Publications Coordinator and Her Boydan Editor-in-Chief, Ali Işık, shared insights about the magazine's journey. He emphasized the importance of integrating international students into literary platforms and noted that the first issue was published four months ago.
The theme of the debut issue was "Gaza: Meaning and Resistance", while the second issue focuses on "Turkish as a World Language."
The event featured a poetry recital by international students, adding a creative touch to the gathering. At the end of the program, attendees received copies of the latest issue of Her Boydan.
The magazine continues to serve as a bridge, connecting international students through their shared passion for the Turkish language and literature.
