Xanthi hosts 1st Amirideio International U16 Basketball Tournament
From April 14 to 16, 2025, the city of Xanthi is hosting the 1st Amirideio International U16 Boys’ Basketball Tournament at the “Filippos Amiridis” Indoor Sports Center. This significant sporting event brings together top youth basketball teams from Greece and abroad, offering young athletes the opportunity to compete in a high-level environment and gain valuable experience.
TOURNAMENT AIMS TO PROMOTE YOUTH SPORTS
The tournament is co-organized by the Municipality of Xanthi and the Athletic Club Lefkippos Xanthi, with participation from athletes and coaches across the wider region. The initiative aims to foster the development of youth sports and expand opportunities for young people within the local community.
