Tuğberk Tanrıvermiş, a 35-year-old Turkish football coach with experience at clubs like Galatasaray and Roma, is set to manage a team in the Greek Super League next season.

Currently the head coach of Austria's 2. Bundesliga side St. Pölten, Tanrıvermiş made a name for himself by transforming a relegation-threatened team into a competitive side. Under his leadership, St. Pölten secured 16 points in just 7 matches, achieving an impressive 2.29 points-per-game average and climbing out of the relegation zone.

From Galatasaray to Greece
Tuğberk Tanrıvermiş began his coaching career in Galatasaray’s youth academy, where he worked for eight years. He then moved to Italy to coach at Roma’s youth academy, spending five successful seasons there. During his time with Roma’s U18 team, he won the Maurizio Maestrelli Award for Best Young Coach of the Year.

In the 2021–22 season, Tanrıvermiş managed Spezia's U19 team before joining St. Pölten. His outstanding performance at St. Pölten caught the attention of several European clubs, leading to talks with an undisclosed Greek Super League team. Reports suggest the deal is nearly finalized, with the coach set to sign on July 1, 2025.

Success at St. Pölten
Tanrıvermiş took over St. Pölten mid-season when the team was in the relegation zone with only 9 points. He led them to a four-match winning streak, including victories against Bregenz, Rapid Wien II, Lafnitz, and FAC. His tactical acumen and leadership skills have been widely praised, positioning him as one of Europe’s promising young coaches.

A Promising Future in Greece
Though the name of the Greek team has not been disclosed, sources close to the negotiations state that both sides have agreed on most terms. If finalized, Tanrıvermiş will bring his expertise and innovative approach to the Greek Super League, marking another milestone in his rapidly rising career.

Fans and analysts are eager to see how the young coach will perform on this new stage, as he continues to demonstrate his potential as a top-tier manager in European football.
