The President of the Republic of Greece, Katerina Salellaropoulou, made Easter in her native village, Stavroupoli, Xanthi, ending her four-day tour in Thrace.

The President of the Republic of Greece, Katerina Salellaropoulou, made Easter in her native village, Stavroupoli, Xanthi, ending her four-day tour in Thrace.
In a festive and relaxed atmosphere, Mrs. Sakellaropoulou toured the settlement, drank coffee with the residents and exchanged wishes with young and old who were in the square to welcome her.
The President was welcomed in the village by, among others, the Deputy Mayor of Stavroupolis Apostolos Eleftheriadis, the Deputy Mayor of Finance Manolis Fanourakis.
A young boy asked the President to transfer to Maximou the proposal to give more incentives to shelters for stray animals instead of kennels.
