Pensioners in Greece organised a demonstration demanding an increase in their incomes and improvement of health services, and also gave a message of support for Palestine.
About 15 thousand pensioners gathered in the capital Athens and marched to the Ministry of Labour.
Pensioners demanded an increase in their pensions in line with the inflation rate and demanded that the lowest pension should be at least 80 per cent of the minimum wage.
Pensioners demanded the reinstatement of the two-month bonus application, which was removed from pensions within the austerity policies implemented as a result of the economic crisis that started in the country in 2009.
Protesters carrying Palestinian flags in the march chanted slogans "Freedom for Palestine" and sent a message of support to Palestine.
Participants also demanded improved health services.
