A giant Palestinian flag was hung on the iconic cliffs of Meteora, one of Greece’s most famous natural landmarks, in a show of solidarity with Palestine.

According to local media reports, a group of activists from various regions of Greece placed the large flag early in the morning on one of the rock formations in the area.

The activists recorded the moment with a drone and shared the footage with media outlets, accompanied by the message: “Stop the genocide, freedom for Palestine.”

The act, described as a “peaceful and symbolic message of solidarity,” was carried out at a location visible from an area frequently visited by Israeli tourists.
